M.S. Tax, Inc. an established accounting firm that specializes in assisting taxpayers and small businesses with tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, estate and trust taxes, is seeking Personal Financial Advisor to join its team of professionals. The person in this position will regularly meet with clients, primarily Russian-speaking; analyze clients’ financial information and determine suitable financial strategies; manage clients’ portfolios; keep clients’ plans up-to-date with any market changes and developments; review clients’ accounts and plans regularly to improve financial performance; help clients’ plan for specific life circumstances; recruit and maintain client bases; research and investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with clients’ financial plans; educate clients and answer questions about investment options; recommend investments to clients. The right person will have working knowledge of business, tax, financial, and investment related legal documentation. Strong project management, communication, negotiation, analytical & time management skills.

Job Duties:- Interview clients, primarily Russian-speaking, to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop a tailored financial plan for each client
- Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for meeting clients’ financial objectives and advise clients on cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, or other areas to help them achieve their financial goals
- Manage client portfolios, keeping clients plans up-to-date with any market changes and developments; implement financial planning recommendations or refer clients to someone who can assist them with plan implementation
- Review clients’ accounts and plans regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, environmental concerns, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment to improve financial performance;
- Research and investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with client financial plans;
- Explain the types of financial services they provide to potential clients;
- Educate clients and answer questions about investment options and potential risks
- Recommend investments to clients or select investments on their behalf
- Help clients plan for specific life circumstances, such as education expenses or retirement
Candidate Requirements:
Education:- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, finance, or related field
Job Duties:
- 5+ years of experience in legal, finance or related field;
- 2+ years of experience conducting financial and business analysis;
- 2+ years of experience working with clients and building strong client relationships;
- 2+ years of experience creating clients’ strategies for business optimization
- 2+ years of experience creating financial forecasts and market analysis
- Working knowledge of business, tax, financial, and investment-related legal documentation
- Strong project management skills including projects involving numerous parties, lines of business and jurisdictions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; strong analytical skills; attention to detail; strong team-working/collaboration ethic, exceptional time management skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken Russian language
